Who Should I Contact for SPoI Support?
- Contact the Lucas Center for help using SPoI to improve your teaching, including reviewing student feedback, developing discipline-specific or course-specific questions, identifying areas for professional development, and strategies for encouraging student participation.
- Contact Digital Learning for help with student feedback related to Canvas courses and Canvas usage, educational technology, online course design, or other digital teaching and learning practices.
- Contact the SPoI Administrator for technical assistance with the SPoI system or survey access.
Professional Development Opportunities
The Lucas Center and Digital Learning will provide informative, relevant, and useful trainings on how to add discipline or course specific questions, use student feedback, use the Canvas components, and how to motivate students to participate in the process. Information on these opportunities will be available on the Lucas Center and Academic Affairs calendars as well as the Digital Learning blog.
To Access Your SPoI Results:
In any Canvas course locate, "Instructor SPoI" in the Course Navigation Menu. Selecting that tab will take you to SPoI survey results for ALL of your courses. You can then select the courses for which you want to download results. We recommend selecting, "Detailed Report + Comments."
