Aquatics Center

The Lee County/FGCU Aquatics Center features two outdoor pools. Our 50-meter pool contains 8 long-course lanes or 20 short-course lanes, perfect for lap swimmers and swim team training. We also have a 25-yard, 8-lane pool with both 3- and 1-meter diving boards, ideal for recreational use or diving. Our Aquatics Center is the ideal facility for swim teams looking to train or host swim meets or other competitive aquatic events.

Recreation Center

The 9,000 square foot Recreation Center includes the Fitness Center, Group Fitness Studio, and the Strength & Conditioning Room.  Our Fitness Center is comprised of treadmills, ellipticals, climbmills, upright & recumbent bikes, and rowing machines.  The facility also features Matrix selectorized strength equipment , along with a free-weight area equipped with dumbbells and plate loaded strength training equipment.  The Recreation Center is also the access point for the Auxiliary Gym, an indoor basketball court located on the second floor of Alico Arena.

Recreation Field

We have approximately 6 acres of multi-purpose field space. Our largest field, Recreation Field 1 is located within the main campus loop and is primarily used for our Intramural Sports program and Sport Clubs.  This field can accommodate up to 3 regulation size fields.  Our Sport Clubs also utilize Recreation Field 2, located in South Village. Both fields are also heavily used for informal recreation and special events throughout the year.

The Recreation Outdoor Complex (ROC) is adjacent to Alico Arena & the FGCU Tennis Complex. The lighted outdoor facility includes 2 basketball courts, 2 sand volleyball courts and green space with an outdoor functional training station.

SoVi Pool

Our newest facility, the SoVi Pool is in the interior of South Village. The resort-style pool has a zero-depth entry and features a water volleyball  and basketball area, large deck space and a grilling area.  This facility is the ideal place to host your groups next event.

The Waterfront is one of FGCU's premier facilities. It's located within North Lake Village and offers a variety of activities including kayaks, paddleboards, sailboats, tubing, cornhole, swimming or lounging in the sun with friends.
