General Rental Policies and Procedures

- Reservations can be made at the Waterfront Building in person, by phone at 239-590-1871, or by email to fgcuoutdoors@gmail.com by 5pm the day before pickup to ensure availability of staff and equipment
- Renters must present proper University Identification (Eagle ID) to rent any equipment.
- The Rental Fee must be paid using credit/debit card at the Waterfront Building during business hours. Fees must be paid in full by the time of pick up.
- Cancellations must be made during business hours.
- Rental checkout and returns are only available Monday-Friday between 12-4:30pm.
- Late Return Charges
  - Items will be charged at a 1.5 times the daily rental rate for each day late.
  - Late days only accrue during RecVentures operation hours.
- Absolutely NO SMOKING or FLAMES in or around equipment made of fabric (Tents, Sleeping Bags and Backpacks)
  - Renter will be assessed a cleaning fee for not adhering to this policy.
- A $25.00 cleaning fee will be assessed to equipment returned that is excessively wet or dirty. Should you fail to pay for damages or lost equipment, University Recreation & Wellness may pursue sanctions such as placing a hold on your Eagle ID. Replacement costs of equipment are listed below.
  - Renter must dry out tents, sleeping bags, and backpacks that get wet.
  - Renter must clean all pots and pans in the mess kit.
