We offer a wide variety of group fitness classes that are free to the FGCU Community, as well as custom personal training to meet your specific goals. We also offer small group training which is a great opportunity to add new dimensions of fitness into your routine by combining personal training and group fitness. 

Heels Hip Hop

Heels Hip Hop takes your favorite cardio hip hop class to the next level! Join the class feeling empowered dancing in your favorite high heeled shoes (heels not required to take the class). Registration for each class opens 24 hours in advance.

  • Tuesday, October 7 at 5:15pm - 6:15pm in URWC Studio 1
  • Tuesday, November 4 at 5:15pm - 6:15pm in URWC Studio 1

Iron Eagles

Iron Eagles is a friendly test-out competition in which individuals will find their one rep maximum on three primary lifts: deadlift, bench, and squat. As the semester goes on, participants will be placed onto the leadership board for the three lifts depending on percentages increased one test-out session to the next. All sessions are held at the University Recreation & Wellness Center.

Session 1 dates:

  • Wednesday, September 3: 2:00pm - 5:00pm
  • Thursday, September 4: 5:00pm - 8:00pm

No pre-registration required - drop-in only!

Come join us for the biggest Group Fitness event of the Fall Semester! Participants can try out different fitness classes including Pilates and Yoga! Participants can also receive food and drinks from Bahia Bowls and Gulf Coast Nutrition (while supplies last).
