Sept. 27, 2022 | FGCU is canceling all classes and non-essential campus activities Thursday and Friday. FGCU leaders will evaluate methods for students to make up for lost instructional time, which will likely include the use of planned study dates as regular academic class. Gain valuable experience while you learn.

The internship and field experiences expose students to a different way of thinking and working and are an important bridge between the classroom experiences and a career in the resort and hospitality industry. The program has relationships with over 300 of the area's finest resorts, hotels, private clubs, events, spas, food and beverage, and other industry related contacts.

Internships make our program truly special

RHA Degree Program students will build their resumes by completing 500 hours of industry experience prior to the 500 internship hours in their chosen area of hospitality interest. Internship sites are available at a variety of hospitality businesses. Mentoring opportunities are fostered through a vast network of industry partners.
