The Lucas Center staff, along with our adjunct faculty collaborators and colleagues in Digital Learning are proud of the recognition we are receiving as recipients of the 2025 Delphi Award, presented by the Pullias Center for Higher Education at USC in partnership with AAC&U. This national award celebrates the innovative and enduring support of FGCU’s Lucas Center for Faculty Development for VITAL faculty —Visiting, Instructors, Temporary, Adjuncts, and Lecturers—through programs such as the Adjunct Academy, Adjunct Faculty Fellow Program, and the dedicated adjunct faculty coordinator role. We are proud that the Lucas Center’s efforts to empower and support VITAL faculty have been recognized as a model for advancing both faculty success and student learning. This recognition affirms our ongoing commitment to fostering a culture where all faculty feel supported, valued, and connected.
