What We Do

  • Provide leadership in academic planning, development, review and approval of courses, degree programs, minors and academic certificates.

  • Provide administrative and staff support for the following university-wide teams: Undergraduate Curriculum Team (UCT), Graduate Curriculum Team (GCT), Graduate Affairs Team (GAT) and the Sustainability Graduation Requirement Review Team for courses with the SCGR attribute.

  • Review the academic catalog for accuracy of curriculum information. 
  • Oversight and maintenance of numerous academic policies.

Academic Policies and Practices in the Academic Catalog

Based on FGCU Policy 2.022, all faculty and administrators creating and revising policies and practices applicable to Academic Matters that are to be published in the Academic Catalog must follow the established review and approval process.
