American Mathematics Competition - 2021-2022
The AMC 8 is a 25-question, 40-minute, multiple choice examination in middle school mathematics designed to promote the development of problem-solving skills. The AMC 8 provides an opportunity for middle school students to develop positive attitudes towards analytical thinking and mathematics that can assist in future careers.

FGCU AMC day presentation - Mathemagic and the path to your college dream
Please join us on Saturday, January 22nd, 2022 at 1 pm with the inaugural AMC lecture by Prof. Yusnier Viera who is known as the Cuban American mental calculator. He is well known as "The Human Calendar" for his Guinness world record on calendar dates. Prof Viera will give an insight into Mathemagic and the path to your college dream. The lecture is intended for middle school students, teachers, and parents. A FREE Virtual event open to public.
