What if the only way for one man to survive against a trio of angry lovers, a notorious killer, two greedy old men, a lusty barmaid and a host of bungling street performers – is to be in two places at once?  The Servant of Two Masters is the most celebrated comedy by Carlo Goldoni, the 18th century genius of the Commedia style.

It’s 1965 London! Carnaby Street is in full color; Go-Go boots pound the pavements of Soho. A young sculptor, one Brindsley Miller and his upper-class fiancée Carol Melkett plot to impress a millionaire art collector AND Carol’s Daddy by displaying some “temporarily pinched” antiques from a neighbor’s flat and passing them off as Brindsley’s property! All goes awry when the power goes out, the neighbor returns home early and Brindsley’s ex-girlfriend gets a great idea! While Brindsley navigates his small soiree in the dark, his entire life unwinds, shedding new light on his bright future.

This brilliant one act farce by Peter Shaffer offers a great escape into a simpler time when young love, political innocence, and a healthy pour of Gin and Tonic could save the day!

Tickets are $10 for the general public and $7 for students. All seats are general admission.
