Who is Responsible?

Everyone at FGCU is responsible for producing ADA compliant materials.  This includes online learning materials, presentations, websites, applications and digital documents.

1. Faculty have an obligation to ensure that all of their course materials meet ADA compliance. Using accessibility tools, such as Ally, Kaltura, and Adobe Acrobat Suite, will help to ensure that what is on Canvas is accessible.
2. Staff have an obligation to ensure that all of their marketing materials, websites, software, training courses, social media, applications, and any other digital content must been ADA compliance guidelines.
3. Students who work in campus offices, or are part of a club or registered student organization, are obligated to ensure that all of their digital materials meet ADA compliance.
