Learning With Picture Books

Learning About Kindness, Compassion, and Empathy Through Picture Books

The research has shown that reading aloud to children has so many benefits for their intelligence and emotional attachment, as well as enrichment and growth from the specific content. ROCK’s Kindness, Compassion, and Empathy Library selections are a useful way to reap the benefits of reading aloud while also starting a conversation about what it means to be kind in daily life. We are grateful for the grant fundig that helped us begin building our library.
