Graduate Student Life

Student Life

The FGCU campus was designed to showcase the natural beauty of our location in Southwest Florida.

We are committed to environmental sustainability through the preservation and restoration of native habitats, the construction of "green" buildings and innovative energy production and conservation. Our campus boasts a 15-acre solar field — the largest on a university campus in the nation. As a graduate student here, you’ll enjoy free access to fitness and aquatics centers, nature trails and recreational activities at our campus lake and beach. Join in the fun through intramural sports or gain valuable leadership experience by participating in one of our 200-plus clubs and organizations.

You can also take advantage of comprehensive Student Health Services, Dining Services and a Family Resource Center that provides early child care and education for qualifying parents.

FGCU is a cultural and entertainment hub for the surrounding communities, with engaging art exhibits, concerts and theatrical productions throughout the academic year. As an NCAA Division I institution, we also enjoy lively campus and community support for 15 nationally recognized teams of outstanding scholar-athletes.
