Lost and Found Property
Lost and found property may be held at several locations on campus.
The Main Circulation Desk at the Library: 239-590-7610
Information Desk at the Student Union: 239-590-1090
The University Police Department: 239-590-1900
Lost property turned in to the University Police Department (UPD) may be claimed at
the UPD office,
located on the north side of the Campus Support Complex (closest to Lucas Hall),
between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday (excluding university and federal holidays).
Prior to arrival, please call 239-590-1900 (UPD Dispatch) or 239-590-1924 (Property
and Evidence Technician) to schedule a pickup time.
Owners must present a University ID or a valid government-issued photo ID (state ID,
driver’s license, or passport) to retrieve property.
Items will be held for 30 days for owner pickup.
Property not claimed within this timeframe will be disposed of or donated in accordance
with Florida Statute 705.18.

Maintaining this record can assist law enforcement in recovering and returning property
if it is lost or stolen.
