FGCU is shifting to remote operations on Monday, October 7. FGCU is closing campus to all activities, including all events and classes Tuesday, October 8 and Wednesday, October 9. Fitness

We offer a wide variety of group fitness classes that are free to the FGCU Community, as well as custom personal training to meet your specific goals. We also offer small group training which is a great opportunity to add new dimensions of fitness into your routine by combining personal training and group fitness. 

Iron Eagles

Iron Eagles is a friendly test-out competition in which individuals will find their one rep maximum on three primary lifts: deadlift, bench, and squat. As the semester goes on, participants will be placed onto the leadership board for the three lifts depending on percentages increased one test-out session to the next. All sessions are held at the University Recreation & Wellness Center.

Session 1 dates:

  • Wednesday, September 18: 5:00pm - 8:00pm
  • Thursday, September 19: 2:00pm - 5:00pm

Session 2 dates: 

  • Wednesday, November 13: 5:00pm - 8:00pm
  • Thursday, November 14: 2:00pm - 5:00pm
