Your EAGLE ID Has Gone MOBILE!
Your Eagle ID is now available on your device - through Apple Wallet, Google Wallet, and Samsung Wallet.
All enrolled students and current employees can add their mobile Eagle ID to their preferred digital wallet and use it across campus. Simply tap your iPhone, Apple Watch, Samsung Galaxy, Google Pixel, or other eligible Android device at campus readers for fast, easy access.
Your Eagle ID Mobile works just like a physical card - giving you more convenient, secure, and always-with-you experience.
Getting Started
Minimal set up is required to use your Eagle ID Mobile. Most users can begin using their Eagle ID Mobile on their phone in minutes. An existing or newly approved photo is required for all active students and employees to access the mobile Eagle ID.
1. Download Transact eAccounts App (Apple, Google Play)
2. Existing or newly approved Eagle ID photo.
3. Add new mobile Eagle ID to wallet from eAccounts App

Once you have received your FGCU Login Credentials, please submit your photo to be displayed on your Eagle ID.
Photo Requirements
A submitted photo must follow the below guidelines. A photo may be uploaded.
- The photo must be a JPEG (.jpg) file with dimensions of at least 481 pixels x 550 pixels (cropped).
- Photo must be in focus and with appropriate lighting.
- Photo needs to be solely of the individual with no evidence of others.
- Photo should not be cropped from group shot.
- Photos should not include sunglasses, headphones, ear pods, hats, caps, bandannas, face coverings, veils, scarves on the head or other accessories. However, Hijabs or head coverings for religious purposes are permitted. If you have questions about these restrictions, please contact the Eagle ID office before submitting your photo.
- Background needs to be solid with no items shown.
- No hands should be visible.
- Appropriate facial expressions only: No scowling, sticking out of tongue, puckering lips, etc.
- Photo must be in color.

How Do I Update Information on My Eagle ID Mobile?
Name information on the Eagle ID Mobile comes to us from the university’s core business systems and needs to be updated there. Students should contact the Registrar’s Office. Faculty and staff should contact their HR representative to request updates. Once changes are completed, the updates will sync to the Eagle ID Mobile on your phone within 48 hours.
Why Are My Account Balance(s) Not Displaying?
- Account balances are currently only displayed on Apple & Samsung Galaxy devices
- If your account balances are $0, they will not display until funds are added.
- If you have available funds that are not displaying, please contact the Eagle ID Office at 239-590-7645 or email: Smile@fgcu.edu.
Why Do I Have a Negative Balance on My Eagle ID?
A negative balance can occur if you make a transaction when a retail device is offline. When the device comes back online and the transaction is posted, you will see a negative balance if there are not enough funds in your account to cover the transaction.
I Used My Credit Card at a Participating Retail Location When I Meant to Use My Eagle ID Mobile. What Can I Do to Correct My Payment Source?
Return to the location of the sale and ask the store to issue a credit card refund, then process the transaction against your Eagle ID Mobile.
I Am Graduating or Leaving the University. What Happens to My Eagle ID Mobile?
As with your physical Eagle ID Card, your Eagle ID Mobile will become inactive when you no longer meet eligibility requirements. If you transfer to another participating program or department at Florida Gulf Coast University, your credintial will stay active and update accordingly.

Do I still need my physical Eagle ID?
We recommend you retain your physical Eagle ID in a secure location as a back-up should you lose a device.
Can I still use my physical Eagle ID once I have created my Eagle ID Mobile?
Yes, your physical Eagle ID will continue to function after you have added your Eagle ID Mobile to your device. Remember, the Mobile ID is a privilege and benefit of being part of the Florida Gulf Coast University community. Anyone found to be misusing their physical card or Eagle ID Mobile will be subject to the applicable Code of Conduct or HR policies regarding fraud and/or misconduct.
I already have the Transact eAccounts mobile app in stalled. Do I need to update?
Yes, you will need to install the updated version of the Transact eAccounts mobile app.
How do I update the Transact eAccounts mobile app?
On your device, visit the App Store or Google Play Store and search Transact eAccounts. The store will prompt you to install any required updates.
My balance is different on my device than in Transact eAccounts?
Confirm your device is not in Airplane Mode or experiencing any other service interruption. Updates cannot be made when there is no connecting service to sync data between Transact eAccounts and your device. The Transact eAccounts app will display the most current information.

Securing Your Account
Toggle More InfoWhat should I do if I lose my card or device, or if I believe there has been fraudulent use of my credential?
- During regular business hours, contact the Student ID Card Office at 239-590-7645 to notify us to deactivate the Eagle ID Mobile. Be sure to specify whether the physical card, watch, and/or phone version of the card should be deactivated. Any device not specified to be suspended will remain active.
- If applicable, identify the fraudulent activity: For purchases using Eagle ID Mobile, contact the Eagle ID Office at Email: Smile@fgcu.edu and report the suspected fraud. If door access was involved, e-mail: WMC@fgcu.edu
- In the Transact eAccounts app:

How do I reactivate my credential if I find my lost device?
To reactivate a found device that was suspended, perform the following steps:

- Select the Card Management option.
- Choose the credential you want to reactivate and toggle it on.
- You will receive a confirmation email. Only the selected card will be reactivated.
In the Transact eAccounts Web Version:

- Select the credential to reactivate
- You will receive a confirmation email. Only the selected card will be reactivated.
