Music Therapy BMT

The Bachelor of Music Therapy program prepares students to enter the music therapy profession as an evidence-based practice. Our approach incorporates recent advances in technology that complement therapeutic processes. Emphasis is placed on the application of music in prevention and wellness.

Upon degree completion, students are eligible to sit for the national examination in music therapy administered by the CBMT. Upon passing this examination, graduates receive the credential MT-BC. It also prepares students for graduate education in music therapy. Further, as accomplished musicians and having engaged with the health sciences, students completing this degree may also pursue graduate study in related disciplines.
