Elementary Education (B.A.)

Why Study Elementary Education at FGCU?

FGCU’s B.A. in Elementary Education (K–6) prepares you to become a certified elementary school teacher through extensive classroom experience, expert faculty mentorship and strong partnerships with local school districts.

As a student, you will gain hands-on learning through two FGCU Early Learning Centers and clinical placements in the five-county service area. The program also gives graduates a competitive advantage by integrating two teaching endorsements — Reading and ESOL — directly into the curriculum.
