What verification should students have ready? When coming into the Help Desk be prepared to show either your Eagle ID card (preferred) or valid Government Issued ID. If you call into the Help Desk, you may be asked to join a Microsoft Teams call so that we can do a visual verification of you while you hold up your identification. This is a security step so that we can ensure that we're speaking with the correct person.

An Eagle Access Account allows you to access FGCU resources, including:

• • Eagle email
  • University applications such as Canvas and Gulfline
  • Lab and classroom computers
  • Other University resources

If  you are having issues getting into your FGCU Eaglemail or other resources, please visit the Eagle Access Management System. 

We do not have temporary passcodes that can be issued. We do have Duo tokens that any student can request through the Request Token form. The individual will need to come to the Help Desk and provide their Eagle ID card (preferred) or valid Government Issued ID. Office 365 to receive a free download of the Microsoft Office suite for your devices (see installation instructions), and have access to OneDrive - featuring 5TB of cloud storage - and Teams for collaboration, virtual meetings, and messaging.

FGCU's campus has several computer labs equipped with the Microsoft Office Suite of programs (& Mac). These are available for student and public use to access the Internet, send and receive email, or use class-specific software. The labs are designed to assist you in completing homework assignments and other tasks related to furthering your educational goals. Virtual labs, on and off campus, providing access to course-specific software anywhere at any time. Information on accessing virtual labs from a Mac or PC is available in the Virtual Lab (vLab) instruction page.

AppsAnywhere delivers software applications in a FGCU ‘app store’ to student, faculty, staff, and classroom computers that can be used anywhere on the FGCU network. Apple machines can access AppsAnywhere through the virtual labs. Visit the AppsAnywhere instruction page to get started.
