The Philosophy program at FGCU offers many opportunities for students to achieve academic and profession experiences in classrooms, lectures and conferences.
The FGCU Philosophy Club encourages and fosters critical thinking and dialogue between students by engaging
philosophical topics, texts and a diversity of viewpoints. The Philosophy Club promotes
an inclusive environment encouraging philosophical discussion and exploration of central
themes and ideas in a wide range of topics. The Club is also active in the organization
of conferences, academic travel (e.g. conference attendance or educational trips),
and an on-campus reading group.
