Dynamic Online Lecturing

When he visited our campus last fall to give talks to faculty and students, Todd Zakrajsek shared some tips from his co-authored book Dynamic Lecturing:  Research-based Strategies to Enhance Lecture Effectiveness. His co-author, Christine Harrington, recently shared a document on the POD listserv in which she adapted some of these ideas to the online, synchronous course environment. She was generous enough to provide this document with the suggestion to “share widely.” You can find this document, titled “Dynamic Lecturing in Synchronous Online Lectures,” here.
