Discover a Social Issue You Care About

Continuing along the Active Citizen Continuum, students can find many ways to learn more about the social issue they are focused on while volunteering. We encourage students to dive more deeply into the why behind the issue. For example, if you volunteer at a food bank every Saturday, this stage should encourage students to ask questions such as, "Why does our community need a food bank," or "What would need to happen to ensure families never need a food bank?"
