Earn an Online Teaching Certificate

Online Teaching Certificate

The Online Teaching Certificate is a flexible professional development experience designed to recognize faculty who have completed key activities in online teaching, course design, and course quality.

Faculty may complete the certificate requirements at their own pace by participating in selected Digital Learning workshops, academies, and review opportunities. Once enrolled in the Online Teaching Certificate Canvas site, faculty will have a central place to track their progress and submit documentation as each requirement is completed.

The Canvas site serves as your certificate hub. It includes an overview of the requirements, submission areas for completion documentation, and guidance for next steps. There is no time limit for completing the certificate, and eligible requirements completed before enrollment may also count toward the certificate.
