The Water School Faculty & Staff

Our Affiliate faculty have academic homes in another college or stand-alone school with no formal appointment in The Water School but help support The Water School in achieving its mission and vision. Affiliate faculty typically support our undergraduate and graduate students in their research and are frequent collaborators with The Water School on initiatives that inform our teaching, learning, health and wellbeing, and understanding of Southwest Florida environmental challenges. 

Our joint faculty have academic homes in another college or stand-alone school, while also plan integral joint roles within The Water School. Within their appointments, joint faculty members undertake teaching, service, and/or scholarly pursuits that fortify The Water School's mission. These endeavors are dedicated to educating both our students and local communities about the environmental intricacies of Southwest Florida. They forge partnerships aimed at fostering resilient communities and cultivate a scholarly environment that enriches teaching, learning, and the overall well-being of Southwest Florida. Through their expertise, our joint faculty bolster The Water School's capacity to tackle intricate environmental issues by employing transdisciplinary approaches rooted in natural sciences, social sciences, and economic studies.
