Spaces Available to Reserve

FGCU can accommodate a wide range of events from meetings to banquets. Our flexible meeting rooms, state-of-the-art audio-visual technology and event-planning services are a perfect combination for meetings, conferences, banquets, dances or other events.  Our facilities are available year-round, excluding campus holidays. Classrooms are available for rental by outside organizations when space permits.

In addition to the large multi-purpose spaces listed below, the Cohen Student Union and the Sugden Resort & Hospitality Management Building also offer smaller multi-purpose spaces and conference rooms.

Classrooms & Lecture Halls

When are classrooms available for scheduling?

Classrooms are released for event scheduling approximately 2 weeks into each semester. Therefore, classroom reservations are limited to the current semester. No classrooms are available during finals week.

What types of classrooms are available?

We offer a variety of classrooms, including traditional desk, tiered and circular tables. Classrooms range in size from seating for 20 to up to 180. Every classroom on campus is equipped with the standard technology of a computer audio/video capabilities and at least one projector screen. The photos below are examples of the classroom options available or you can click on the button below to view photos and features of various classrooms.

How to Request a Table Reservation

1. For outdoor table reservations, start by looking at our Tabling Zone Map to see which location(s) you are interested in. Our indoor tabling locations are in the Cohen Student Union Atrium.

2. Next, send your request by email to rmsched@fgcu.edu using the format shown in How to Request SpacePlease indicate if you are requesting more than the standard 1 table and 2 chairs.

3. All requests are processed in the order they were received. Allow 2-3 business days for our Campus Reservations Room Scheduler to send you a reservation confirmation. More information regarding our tabling procedures will be sent to you at this time. Please do not advertise any meetings/events until you receive this confirmation. 

Tabling for Outside Groups

Business Information Application is required for all outside groups requesting a table. All table reservations for outside groups selling merchandise of any kind will incur a cost of $116.60 per standard size table space per day, not to exceed 8'W x 6'D x 8'H. Certain items may be prohibited from sale or distribution based on University contracts and/or policies. 


Posting and Solicitation on Campus

Anyone reserving tables on campus must abide by FGCU Policy 4.007, Posting and Solicitation on Campus. For posting advertising materials on campus, please only use the locations listed on this map.


Computer Labs

What types of computer classrooms are available?

We offer a variety of different classrooms, ranging from 24 to 72 seats. Every computer classroom on campus is equipped with the standard technology of a computer audio/video capabilities and at least one projector screen in addition to the computers in the spaces. Below are a few examples of the variety of computer classrooms available.
