Summer 2021 Faculty Training
The Department of Digital Learning will be offering a variety of training and professional
development opportunities for faculty during the summer. Please review the list of
workshops and academies and register for the sessions or courses that best fit your
needs.
TEACHING ACADEMIES
Three virtual, facilitated academies will be offered to address the specific needs of the various online modalities at FGCU. These academies will take place online in Canvas from Tuesday, July 20, 2021 to Monday, August 9, 2021.
TECHNOLOGY TRAINING
Several opportunities are available for instructional technology training, including live Zoom workshops, self-paced courses, and individual training sessions.

VIRTUAL BOOK CLUB SERIES
The Digital Learning Virtual Book Club Series is a four week training opportunity to teach and learn with your peers in asynchronous discussions and synchronous meetings. This book club will meet weekly beginning the week of 6/7 and ending the week of 6/23.
