Repurposed Property and Supplies

The Repurposed Property and Supplies website is designed to make it easier for departments to browse and claim available surplus items already owned by the University. This strategic initiative supports FGCU’s commitment to sustainability by reusing, repurposing, and reclaiming idle University supplies and property.

How to Claim Non-Capital Property and Supplies:

  • To review available property click on the (+) below

  • Send an email to the contact noted on the listing

  • The requestor is responsible for the logistics of securing the requested property

  • There is no asset transfer needed for non-capital property or supplies

  • No recovery cost is charged to the receiving department for the item(s)

How to Submit Available Non-Capital Property and Supplies:

  • The Property Manager for the Department will contact Kimberly Michaux at kmichaux@fgcu.edu with the following information:
      • Description of the Item
      • Clear Picture of the Item
      • Contact Name and Email Address
  • Kimberly will confirm back to the contact that the item(s) has been posted on the website
  • The contact on the listing will respond back to internal inquiries and coordinate the exchange of the property
  • After the property has been exchanged, the contact for the item will notify Kimberly via email kmichaux@fgcu.edu that the property has been claimed
  • Kimberly will remove the item from the Repurposed Property and Supplies website
