2023-2028 Strategic Planning:
The Marieb College of Health & Human Services
As our previous strategic plan has lapsed and we look ahead towards the next five years, we will engage in a strategic planning process in order to establish a novel direction for the Marieb College of Health & Human Services.
Our goal is to develop a strategic plan which reflects a common mission and vision, as well as a set of goals that recognizes the unique attributes of each academic unit. We will seek to develop a strategic plan that is aspirational and achievable; a plan that acknowledges our history in terms of our successes and challenges. A plan that identifies the opportunities ahead of us as we seek to develop the future directions and approaches that will lead the Marieb College to continued success and development.
What is Strategic Planning?
Strategic planning is a deliberate, disciplined effort to produce fundamental decisions and actions that shape and guide what the college is, what it does, and why it does it. The strategic plan provides guidance for decision-making, both long-term and day-to-day, and ensures that both decisions and operations:
- Carry out the mission, vision, and values of the university and college.
- Comply with mandates and regulations of government, accrediting bodies, etc.
- Keep the institution operationally and fiscally healthy, now and in the future.
