Undergraduate Department of Rehabilitation Students Invited to Defend Honors Thesis

Congratulations to four of the Department's undergraduate students who were invited to defend their Honors Thesis next week. Dr. Elizabeth Templeton is mentor to two Exercise Science students; Margaret Boswell and Autumn Boone. Margaret's Honors Thesis is on Exercise and Breastfeeding: An Analysis of Breastfeeding Mother's Misconceptions and Perceived Barriers, and Autumn Boone's Honors Thesis is on Warm-Up Strategies and Their Effect on Mile Run Times. Dr. Mark Erickson is a mentor to Exercise Science student Jacob Newman and his thesis on Outcomes for Music Students Following Participation in the FGCU Exercise is Medicine Program. Dr. Valerie Weiss, Anatomy & Physiology Instructor and Medical Illustrations Professor, is the mentor to student Arianna Smith and her thesis on Illustrating the Unobservable: Medical Illustration of COVID-19 and It's Impact on Physicians, Scientists, and the Public. Congratulations to all students and mentors on this accomplishment!
