Dr. Weiss has Continued Success with her Medical Illustration Students

Dr. Valerie Weiss has taught a Medical Illustrations course at FGCU for several semesters. This semester, Dr. Weiss has an incredible group of 24 new students, young women who are mostly health profession majors. This semester, with the combined efforts of Dr. Weiss and Dr. Clay Motley, the Medical Illustrations course was approved as a three-credit version of the course. Each week a new topic is introduced with a simultaneous medical-based case study while students review relevant anatomy and do an art lesson.
