FGCU Instructor Wins Award for Vectra Digital AI Case Study
Florida Gulf Coast University Management Instructor Dr. Chrissann Ruehle has won the Best Student-Authored Case Study Award from the North American Case Research Association (NACRA) for work based on her partnership with Vectra Digital.
Her case study, “Vectra Digital: Capturing Artificial Intelligence Value After Adoption,” was presented to a NACRA roundtable in October. Ruehle’s case study will be adjusted based upon feedback from the IT roundtable and submitted for publication to the Case Research Journal (CRJ). At the heart of her case study is Fort Myers-based Vectra Digital’s proprietary artificial intelligence tool that manages digital accounts and budgets 24 hours a day. Ruehle’s case study highlights Vectra Digital’s founding, its AI introduction and development, barriers to AI adoption, ethical issues encountered, and future plans for the AI tool. The study is part of her dissertation “Understanding the Complex Ethical Landscape of Artificial Intelligence Adoptions.”
