Strategic Sourcing – What a 2024 Mindset Looks Like

February 14, 2024 / Wednesday Webinar / Tag: Center for Supply Chain Excellence

This webinar will be conducted by Mark S. Baxa, who is the current President and CEO of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP). Under his leadership, CSCMP has expanded its content reach across all functional levels in the supply chain, added critical new research content connecting meaningful insights for shippers derived from the academic community, expanded the organization's benefits internationally, and created and introduced the Executive Inner Circle and the Executive Supply Chain Leadership Academy, to name a few. He has over 40 years of experience in supply chain leadership, including sales, customer service, logistics, distribution, global trade & compliance, procurement, sustainability, supplier diversity, and supply chain strategy. He is passionate about driving value-added results, creating global synergy, and building leaders. Mark has also served as a global board member for WEConnect International, which is consistent with his belief in the value diversity brings to the supply chain. He facilitates supply chain strategy development at the EU & US Federal levels, teaches executive courses at the university level, is broadly published in numerous supply chain & business media, and speaks at conferences worldwide. In 2018, Mark was inducted into the prestigious DC Velocity Rainmakers. He holds an Executive Supply Chain Strategy Certificate from MIT, a Logistics Modeling Certificate from Georgia Institute of Technology, an Executive Supply Chain Certificate from Northwestern University, and a BS in Agronomy and Crop Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Mark is a seasoned executive with the energy and insight to support supply chain professionals throughout their career. And that’s why he leads CSCMP…to do just that.
