A vision for a world-class college of business.
This initiative started with the foresight of FGCU Trustee Joseph G. Fogg III. The Lutgert College of Business will solicit advice and input from an elite group of individuals who share a vision for a world-class college of business that serves a growing and dynamic regional and state economy and that strives to be among the best business schools in the country.

G. Nicholas Beckwith III

Nick’s healthcare legacy began at Shadyside Hospital in Pittsburgh, where his father served as board chair. He joined that board in 1975, becoming chair in 1990 and chairman of UPMC’s board of directors in 2002, a position he held for over 20 years. He retired as Chair Emeritus in December 2025.
Nick’s commitment to ensuring and advancing the quality of care for patients is a hallmark of his tenure at UPMC, as was his focus on growing UPMC’s scope domestically and internationally, diversifying lines of business through health insurance and incubating medical discovery of its faculty through a venture arm. In 2012, the Beckwith Institute became an endowed fund at UPMC, with matching support from the center. The Beckwiths invest in support of the institute and its mission to improve the patient experience and deliver superior clinical outcomes at UPMC and beyond.

William Bindley

Bill has served as chairman of the Guardian Pharmacy Services board of directors since its formation. He has served as chairman of Bindley Capital Partners, LLC, a private investment firm, since 2001. He also founded Priority Healthcare Corporation, a national provider of biopharmaceuticals and complex therapies for chronic disease states. He served as its chairman from 1995 to 2005 and chief executive officer from 1994 to 1997.
Bill was also the chairman, president, chief executive officer and founder of Bindley Western Industries Inc., a national pharmaceutical distributor and nuclear pharmacy operator that was acquired by Cardinal Health Inc. in 2001. He previously served as a trustee at Kite Realty Group Trust from August 2004 to May 2024 and has also served on the boards of directors of Cardinal Health, KeyBank, NA, Bindley Western Industries, Priority and Shoe Carnival Inc. He received his bachelor’s degree in industrial economics and Doctor of Management from Purdue University and completed the Wholesale Management Program at the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Nancy Carlson

Jan Fields

Jan Fields, former President of McDonald’s USA, is a highly regarded business leader and speaker. Her career began in 1978 as a McDonald's crew member, eventually rising to oversee the strategic direction of 14,000 U.S. restaurants.
She now serves on the board of Alimentation Couche-Tard. Her extensive board experience includes Chico’s FAS, Monsanto, and serving as Chairman of Buffalo Wild Wings during its sale. She has been a Global Board member of Ronald McDonald House Charities for over a decade.
Recognized for her influence, Fields has appeared on Forbes' Most Powerful Women, Fortune's 50 Most Powerful Women, and other notable lists.

Joseph G. Fogg III

Joseph began his career on Wall Street at Morgan Stanley & Co. Inc. following his graduation from Harvard Business School in 1970. He retired as a senior managing director and member of the Management Committee at Morgan Stanley in 1994. While at Morgan Stanley, he served in various capacities, including founding member and head of the Mergers and Acquisitions Department, the Corporate Finance Department, and ultimately as head of Morgan Stanley’s worldwide investment banking operations. As head of Morgan Stanley’s 1,000-person Investment Banking Division, he oversaw the operations of 16 offices on four continents.
He is a former president of the Forum Club of Naples and a trustee of FGCU and Chair of the Audit and Compliance Committee.

Blake Gable

Blake Gable is the CEO of Barron Collier Companies, a fourth-generation private investment, agriculture, and land development company based in Naples, Florida. Blake began his career with Barron Collier Companies in 1999, serving various leadership roles including project manager during the establishment of the new hometown, Ave Maria, Florida, and was vice president of mineral management and real estate. Blake now oversees a team of 200 employees who manage over 2.5 million square feet of commercial property, homebuilding operations and private land holdings of more than 80,000 acres. Blake graduated from Tulane University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with a History major. For five years after having received his undergraduate degree, he was Legislative Director of United States Representative Ed Pastor (AZ) in Washington. Upon moving back to Florida, he received a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the Executive MBA program of Florida Gulf Coast University. Commitment to his community is a priority for Blake, who has graduated from both the Leadership Collier and Leadership Florida programs. He sits on the Board at Naples Comprehensive Health, is on the Advisory Board for the Rooney Democracy Institute at the University of Notre Dame, and on the Board at CTO Realty Growth, a publicly traded real estate investment trust. Previously he was the Chairperson of the Florida Gulf Coast University Board of Trustees, former Chair of the Greater Naples Chamber of Commerce, a former member of the Board of Enterprise Florida, a former Trustee of the Naples YMCA, a former Director of The Immokalee Foundation, and has been involved with the area American Heart Association, United Way, and the Randy Roberts Foundation.

Jeff Henley

Jeff is vice chairman of Oracle Corporation and has been a member of its board of directors since 1995. He served as Oracle’s chief financial officer and executive vice president from 1991 to 2004, and as chairman from 2004 to 2014. He remains a member of Oracle’s Executive Management Committee.
Prior to Oracle, Jeff held senior financial roles at Pacific Holding Company, Saga Corporation, Memorex Corporation and Fairchild Camera and Instrument Corporation. He currently serves on the board of the University of California at Santa Barbara’s Engineering College.

Ned is a former chair of the State University System of Florida Board of Governors. He is the lead director of the Independent Trustees of the Equity and High-Income Funds of Fidelity Investments and a member of the Council on Foreign Affairs. He is also a member of the board of directors of Artis-Naples, home of the Naples Philharmonic and The Baker Museum in Naples, Florida, and in the past served as chairman of the board.
Previously, Ned was as a member and then lead director of the board of directors of Eaton Corporation; a partner at Clayton, Dubilier & Rice, LLC; and a director of Sony Corporation, PPG Industries, Providian and ChoicePoint. In addition, he had a 30-year career with IBM, during which time he served as senior vice president and a member of the Corporate Executive Committee. He received a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Cincinnati and an MBA from Harvard University. Ned is married, with four children and 14 grandchildren.

“Mick” Moore is an owner and operating partner of the Turtle Club Restaurant and Vanderbilt Beach Resort and practices law part-time as Of Counsel at Woods, Weidenmiller, Michetti & Rudnick.
A Naples native, Mick graduated from Dartmouth College and earned his law degree from William & Mary Law School. He began his legal career in Washington, D.C., practicing commercial litigation before returning to Naples in 2000 to join a local law firm. In 2004, he transitioned from full-time legal practice to lead his family’s businesses, where he serves as President and Operating Partner. Mick continues to practice law part time as a commercial litigator representing clients in all types of complex business disputes.
Mick is very active in the Naples community and has served on numerous nonprofit boards, including the YMCA of Collier County, the Greater Naples Chamber of Commerce, the Naples North Rotary Club, Trinity by the Cove Episcopal Church, the Dartmouth Club of Southwest Florida, and Tumaini Fund USA. He is a graduate of Leadership Collier and is a currently member of Leadership Florida Cornerstone Class 43.
