Management Department Chair Named to Gulfshore Business '40 Under 40'

Each year Gulfshore Business magazine publishes a list of 40 business professionals under the age of 40 who are noteworthy for their accomplishments and contributions to the Southwest Florida community. This year, we are thrilled that our own Dr. Jenny Manegold made the list!

JENNIFER MANEGOLD, 38
Chair, Department of Management Florida Gulf Coast University, Lutgert College of Business

Dr. Manegold is an Associate Professor, Chair of the Management Department, and founding director of the Southwest Florida Leadership Institute. Her course offerings typically include service-learning projects which allow students to give back to the community, and her published research covers topics from organizational justice to mentoring and teams. Manegold is also a member of the SWFL FutureMakers Coalition and a sought-after guest speaker for community groups.

“I love working in higher education,” she said, when asked about her future aspirations. “I may continue along a university administrative track as a long-term career option. More immediately, I plan to continue to seek opportunities to serve others, build stronger community partnerships and help create innovative university programs.”
