A graduate certificate in Supply Chain can be earned by taking a sequence of four courses: Logistics of Supply Chains, Purchasing
and Supply Chains, Global Supply Chains and Operational Excellence.
Tuition Grant Opportunity:
For residents of Southwest Florida five-county region (Charlotte, Collier, Glades, Hendry, and Lee) there are a limited number of grants available through the Department of Labor (DOL).
This grant will provide 50% of the tuition for the four courses.
For recipients of the grant money, in addition to completing the four required courses,
students will be required to complete a paid internship at a company after successful
completion of four courses. FGCU will try to help the student find an internship,
but cannot guarantee successful placement. If the student is already employed, then in lieu of the paid internship, the student
may complete a project related to Supply Chain with their current employer.
If a student is grant funded, they will get a certificate of completion of courses
and a certificate of completion of paid internship, upon completion of the paid internship.
If the student fails to complete the paid internship and would like to receive just
the certificate of completion of courses, they will be required to refund the Department
of Labor (DOL) grant money to receive the certificate of completion of courses.
The 50% tuition waiver for the first two courses will be applied in advance. Tuition
waiver for the last two courses will be applied upon completion of the paid internship
or a project related to Supply Chain with their current employer.
The program is offered in flex delivery mode, i.e., classes are offered face-to-face
as well as in synchronous online mode.
