Across all 438 graduating seniors, Finance and Quantitative Business Analysis produced the college's strongest overall national percentile rankings, placing in the top 35% and top 53%, respectively.
Students also demonstrated their highest percentages of correct responses in Management (54%), Marketing (51%), Legal and Social Environment (49%) and Economics (49%). These results illustrate the importance of examining both raw scores and national percentile rankings when assessing student learning.
Supporting Continuous Academic Improvement
The assessment provides LCOB faculty and academic leadership with valuable information to evaluate how effectively the Business Common Core and prerequisite courses prepare students with foundational business knowledge.
By comparing student performance with a substantial national benchmark, the college can identify areas of academic strength and opportunities for continued curriculum development.
These results underscore the accomplishments of LCOB's graduating students while reinforcing the college's commitment to assessing student learning, strengthening academic programs and preparing graduates with knowledge that extends beyond their individual areas of specialization.
