Logan Wallick named BGS Chapter Honoree 2024

Each year the FGCU Chapter of Beta Gamma Sigma (BGS)’s student officers select a prominent community member to recognize with an honorary membership into the international business honor society. Chapter Honorees must have achieved distinction primarily in business and administration and demonstrate those qualities that Beta Gamma Sigma fosters, including honor, wisdom, and earnestness.

This year, the chapter chose to recognize Logan Wallick, Director of People Operations at
L3Harris Technologies.

Logan Wallick is a seasoned, certified Human Resources leader with extensive experience in optimizing and innovating HR functions. With a strategic mindset and operational skillset, Logan has thrived in dynamic environments, utilizing his diverse skills and expertise. His proficiency spans, HR operations, HR technology, talent management, recruiting, employee relations, HR compliance, business partnership, and more.

In his current role as Director of People Operations at L3Harris Technologies, Logan leads a team of over 30 global HR professionals responsible for providing 24/7 HR services to over 50,000 employees. His achievements include successfully spearheading a multi-year transformation of HR service delivery and collaborating cross-functionally to centralize portions of the HR function and optimize various business processes. With a robust professional background that includes roles at Gartner, Suffolk Construction, Vi Living at Bentley Village, and Algenol Biotech, Logan has consistently demonstrated leadership and impact.

Logan’s educational background includes an MBA and BS in Management (Human Resources Concentration) from Florida Gulf Coast University. He holds the certifications of SHRM-CP through the Society for Human Resources Management and PHR through the Human Resources Certification Institute. Recognized for his achievements, Logan has received awards like the FGCU Soaring Eagle Award and was a Gulfshore Business Forty Under Forty recipient in 2018. Active in professional and community organizations, he contributes to SHRM at both the local and national levels and returns to FGCU regularly to participate in the Lutgert College of Business Department of Management Advisory Council and other various activities on campus.

In his spare time, Logan enjoys being outdoors, active, and traveling as much as possible. Logan and his husband John live in Estero with their two miniature dachshunds. Since 2005, Logan has admired and called FGCU and the Southwest Florida community home.
