Dr Wright-Isak's work combines marketing scholarship and practice, and includes both civilian and military projects. She has published articles on topics such as measurement of advertising effectiveness, advertising to children in the 21st Century, advertising as a profession, naturally occurring brands and the perceived benefits and value of military service. Her most recent article on recruitment was published in both English and French in Res Militaris (July 2017), the leading international online journal of military affairs.
Dr Wright-Isak provides ongoing branding strategy advice or taken on specific projects when they are suitable for her classes to engage in for such local clients as Arthrex, Bonita Bay Group, The Collier County School Board, and the Seminole Tribe of SWFL. She also serves on local boards relevant to military issues on campus and in Lee County.
